40 years since Spidey hit the UK

Forty years ago yesterday, the British comic POW! was launched, and
amongst its anthology content was Spider-Man. For many of the tens of
thousands of kids who bought that issue (myself included) this was our
first exposure to the Spider-Man strip. (The US imports were available
in limited quantities but I'd never seen them at that time.)

Yeah frightening isn't it? My "Fantastic" annual is 39 years old this year
and still in good nick
