This week on WHO WANTS TO BE A SUPERHERO most of the contestants were
tricked into revealing their true names to the first cute person that
asked.
Lee read 'em the riot act, said no Superhero would EVER do that, and
used as an example Peter Parker, and look how many times he was tempted,
and still would NEVER reveal his real ID.
And fired Monkey Woman on the spot.
Now if only Marvel would fire JMS.
God I wish they'd hurry up and film Spiderman 4, so Stan Lee could have
something to distract him from making stupid reality shows like this one!

Hardly ever. I recall a stand-alone story in which Spider-Man was
telling a little boy all of his secrets, including who he was. At
the end, for those who hadn't already figured it out, it was
revealed that the boy was dying of some terminal illness and that
there'd been a newspaper story about him and how his one wish was to
meet his greatest hero, Spider-Man, etc.
The 1990s animated series did a similar storyline, except it was a little
girl and it, too, never revealed what was her illness.

Simple solution if you don't like it:

Just... don't... watch... it.

Simpler solution:

Just... don't... make... stupid... shows... like... that... one.

Actually, that's the more complicated solution, chief.

Think about it.

I wished Gorge Lukas would come to his senses and start shooting Star Wars
-1, I always felt there was room for a prequel before the prequel.
