recent plot/storyline in Amazing Spider-Man?

hi, first time posting here but longtime fan.
fan of spidey since my youth. Actually he's my favorite superhero. But I
never read the amazing spider-man series because I never knew what issue
I should start off with. Can someone suggest where someone like me
should start to understand the current plotline happening in the marvel
universe?

Hey, I don't read Amazing anymore because I think they ruined
Spiderman with the big retcon they pulled a couple years back so I
can't help you on that one but you should post to the
rec.arts.comics.marvel.universe group instead of this one because no
one posts here...you're lucky I even noticed your post.

Don’t' read the current Spider-Man because it's not Peter Parker wearing
Peter Parking's skin. Nothing that's taking place is of any importance.
